EUPIC was invited to the EU SME Centre’s Phase II Launch Event

On November 26th, EUPIC was invited to attend the EU SME Center’s Phase II Launch Event held at EU Delegation to China, Beijing. This event is organised by EU SME Centre together with its six implementing partners- the China-Britain Business Council, the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, French Chamber of Commerce in China, China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Benelux Chambers of Commerce and EUROCHAMBRES

 

Opening the launch, H.E. Hans Dietmar Schweisgut, Head of the Delegation to the European Union to China, spoke of the EU’s efforts on promoting a climate of entrepreneurship and the strategy for the internationalization of SMEs. He praised the EU SME Centre for past works to help SMEs in China and expected more concrete and effective success of the Centre in Phase II. Chris Cheung, Centre Director, summarized the efforts made in Phase I and unveiled three new service centres- Knowledge Centre, Advice Centre and Training Centre-which will build on the services provided in the Phase I to deliver more in-depth business support to SMEs, including legal, business development, standards and conformity assessment as well as human resources.

 

EUPIC expressed the appreciation for the collaboration with EU SMEs in the past and expected more fruitful collaboration projects in the Phase II by sharing the information platform, building business network. All these efforts made aims at providing more professional services to SMEs for their better development in China.
