September 18, 2018 – This edition’s EU-China B2B Matchmaking Meetings were held at Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao. Nearly 300 Chinese companies and 80 European companies have been engaged in one-to-one business meetings focusing on cooperation in the marine industry, new energy and new materials, environmental protection, modern agriculture, economic and trade services. 461 match meetings were arranged, while 159 letters of intents and agreements were signed. The positive outcome ratio of the B2B meetings exceeded this year 30%.

September 21, 2018 – The Europe Day for Tourism & Culture: Visit Europe was successfully held at the Business & Innovation Centre for China-Europe Cooperation (CCEC). Mr. Viktor Vereb, China Representative of EU-China OBOR Culture and Tourism Development Commit-tee, attended the event and delivered a speech. Presentations on tourism resources in Italy, Germany and France regions have been delivered. Over 40 local travel agencies and trading companies attended the event and the networking with the European counterparts.

September 19, 2018 – The Europe Day for Investment: Invest in Poland was successfully held at the Business & Innovation Centre for China-Europe Cooperation (CCEC). Mr. Artur Gradziuk, Economic Counselor of Embassy of Poland attended the event and delivered a speech.

September 19, 2018–The Green Economy Seminar was successfully held at Hilton Chengdu. Nearly 100 representatives and experts from Germany, Denmark, Italy, Sweden and other European Countries joined local authorities on this event regarding environmental protection industries. Mr. Alexander Fowles, Deputy Consul General at the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chengdu attended the event and delivered a speech.

September 19, 2018 – The Roundtable on Sino-European Cooperation for Convention and Exhibition Industry was successfully held at Hilton Chengdu. Ms. Liu Xiaoliu, Vice Mayor of Chengdu Municipal People's Government attended the event and delivered a speech. The event gathered exhibition organizations and business associations from both China and EU to explore bilateral cooperation potential in the sectors. EU-China Conference & Exhibition Industry Cooperation Initiative in Chengdu was released during the Roundtable to further enhance the communication and cooperation in convention and exhibition industry.

September 20, 2018 –This edition’s EU-China B2B Matchmaking Meetings were held at Hil-ton Chengdu. 140 European companies and nearly 400 Chinese counterparts active in the sectors of new energy & environmental protection, modern agriculture, general aviation, bio-pharmaceuticals, mechanical manufacturing and IT/ICT have attended the one-to-one meetings.

More than 800 matchmaking meetings were arranged and 252 letters of intents and agree-ments were signed, involving 800 million RMB in total.
