October 25, 2017 – The Roundtable on Sino-Europe Cooperation of Business Associations was successfully held at Chengdu Century City International Convention Centre. The event gathered trade promotion organizations and business associations from both China and EU with more than120 professionals and guests attending.

Nearly 100 representa-tives and experts from Germany, Denmark, Netherlands and Serbia industries attended the event together with local authorities and players active in the environmental protection sector.

October 31, 2017 – The EU-China B2B Matchmaking Meetings were successfully held at Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao. Nearly 400 Chinese companies and over 160 European companies from 25 countries including Germany, Italy, Sweden, Finland, France, Great Britain, Denmark have been engaged in one-to-one business meetings focusing on cooperation in energy saving, new energy, new material, bio-pharmaceuticals, ICT, shipbuilding, culture, tourism, food and international trade. More than 700 match meetings were arranged, and over 200 cooperation projects were signed. The success ratio of the match-making meetings reached this year 28%.

October 30, 2017 – The EU-China Environment Protection Technology Cooperation Seminar was successfully held at Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao. Mr. Ding Jianhua, Chairman of Qingdao Association of Environmental Protection Industry delivered speech. Representatives from Chinese government officials, universities, business associations and enterprises from EU countries with an overall number of over 190 people attended the event. The speakers discussed the opportunities for cooperation between EU and China in VOC treatment, soil remediation, clean-tech, new energy, sustainable development, energy conservation and environmental protection.

October 30, 2017 – The EU-China High-end and Smart Manufacturing Cooperation Forum was successfully held at Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao. Over 100 representatives attended the event and followed the presentation made by Qingdao Economic and Information Technology Committee and representatives from chambers of commerce and high-tech enterprises from Germany, France and Denmark. The debate focused on topics such as information and sensor technology, robotics, aerospace equipment and customized manufacturing.

The event gathered government officials, research institutes, specialists and enterprises from both China and EU with an overall number of about 500 people attending.
