November 7, 2016 - The 11th EU-China (Qingdao) Business & Technology Cooperation Fair was successfully held at Shangri-La Hotel in Qingdao. Over 120 European representatives from Member States, Embassies and EU Delegation, European business associations, industrial clusters, business incubators, organizations and enterprises joined the inauguration Ceremony, along with more than 300 Chinese representatives and leaders from the Qingdao Municipal Government; the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade; representatives from Qingdao Development & Reform Commission; the Qingdao Economic and Information Technology Committee; the Qingdao Municipal Science and Technology Commission; the Qingdao Ocean and Fisheries Bureau; the Qingdao Environmental Protection Bureau; the Qingdao National High-tech Industrial Development Zone Administration; colleges and institutions; innovation parks and enterprises as well as domestic and foreign media.

November 3, 2016 - The opening ceremony of the EU-China Business & Technology Cooperation Fair XI was attended by more than600 people, including leaders, high-rank officers and representatives from both China and Europe. From China, the list of attendees included officials fromChina Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), Torch High Technology Industry Devel-opment Center of Ministry of Science and Technology, Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, Chengdu Municipal People’s Government, as well as over 300 Chinese enterprises from all around the Country. Over 260 were the attendees from EU, representing Member States’ governments and institutional bodies, international organizations and companies.


The EU-China Business & Technology Cooperation Fair Xwas opened by H.E.Ms. Andrea Gulyás, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Hungary, Mr. Ke Zunping, Chairman of Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Mr. Tang Liangzhi, Secretary of CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee, Mr. Luo Qiang, Deputy Secretary of CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee and Acting Mayor of Chengdu Municipal People's Government, Mr. Tang Chuanping, Chairman of Chengdu Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Mr. Cai Guofeng, Deputy Secretary-General of China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC).


November 3, 2016- Theme Forum: EU-China Cooperation on Green Economy Development was successfully held at Chengdu Century City International Convention Centre.The event gatheredgovernment departments, research institutes, specialists and enterprises from both China and EU with a total number of over 500 people attending.

November 4, 2016–Europe-China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cooperation Dialogue was successfully held at Chengdu Century City International Convention Centre. The event gathered innovation incubators and industrial parks, venture capitalists, science &technology financing institution, universities as well as entrepreneurs from both China and EU with a total number of over 200 people attending.


Sophia-Antipolis Chengdu Executive Innovation Mentorship Programme was co-launched by Mr. An Daochang, Deputy Director of Torch HighTechnology Industry Development Center of Ministry of Science &Technology of China, Mr. Wu Kai, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee and Chairman of Chengdu Federation of Trade Unions, Mr. Tian Yunhui, Deputy Director of Science & Technology Department of Sichuan, Mr. Xu Fuyi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Chengdu High-tech Zone, Mr. Philippe Mariani, CEO of Sophia-Antipolis Science & Technology Park and Ms. Segree Dai, CEO of EU Project Innovation Centre.


November 3-6, 2016 –The EU Member States (Hungary, Italy, France) Event Days were successfully held atthe Century City International Exhibition Centre of Chengdu duringthe EU-China Business & Technology Cooperation Fair XI.

November 3-6, 2016–The Exhibition Hall of the EU-China Business & Technology Cooperation FairXI- covering nearly 1,200sqm - has attracted various exhibitors from 10 EU Member States including Hungary, Italy, France, Czech Republic, the Netherlands,Greece and other countries that have brought some of the most advanced technologies and products available today worldwide, including 3D projection technique, fireplace, water purifier, food and other innovative technology products, all developed in the EU.
